Players cannot populate a lobby or server with more than one player per Xbox or PC. There is no split-screen support in Grounded. Thankfully, Grounded does support cross-play, which makes this a bit of an easier pill to swallow. This means that families and households with two people that want to play will need to use two separate systems. Players will be unable to play split-screen on a single console or on a single PC. Unfortunately, no, Grounded does not support split-screen co-op. This would certainly make it easier for siblings, roommates, and partners to play together on one system. Now that it’s finally out in early access, players want to know if Grounded supports split-screen co-op, on either PC or console. Playing games with friends is more fun, and the same is true of Grounded.
